[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally had the opportunity to use my new mixer this past Sunday. My expectations were actually exceeded.Four egg whites yielded an entire bowl of meringue in no time flat. Looking forward to the holidays.
Many tasks I need to accomplish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Artisan Series Tilt-head Stand Mixer w/ premium accessory pack is what a baker’s dreams are made of. Firstly, the mixer itself is just stunning. The matte black finish and exquisite design is sleek, modern and looks aesthetically pleasing in my more modern/contemporary styled kitchen. It feels sturdy and durable, and like it will last a literal lifetime. My mother still owns her KitchenAid mixer from the 70s and I have no doubts this model, too, will stand the test of time. The premium accessory pack included with this particular mixer is worth every single penny. Not only does it include 3 and 5 quart bowls, it also includes a pastry beater, wire whip, dough hook, and flex edge beater that allows you to create a wide variety of dishes, and a secure fit pouring shield that I’m not sure how I’ve lived without for all these years. I’ve really enjoyed the versatility of the pastry beater in particularly as I’ve used to to not only create pastry dishes but to shred chicken breast for chicken tacos and pulled chicken sandwiches as well. The possibilities are endless with this mixer!

More Expensive and not as good.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter who has long admired my own 25 year old KitchenAid mixer.
On its very first use we discovered that the brand new unit is extremely loud when running. Three times the sound from the motor as my old one. It does not have as much low speed torque as my old one. The Power or speed lever is very difficult to adjust it's way too tight. They no longer put a spring on the spindle that keeps the attachments in the bow. Overall they price of these have increased but NOT the quality.
