More Expensive and not as good.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter who has long admired my own 25 year old KitchenAid mixer.
On its very first use we discovered that the brand new unit is extremely loud when running. Three times the sound from the motor as my old one. It does not have as much low speed torque as my old one. The Power or speed lever is very difficult to adjust it's way too tight. They no longer put a spring on the spindle that keeps the attachments in the bow. Overall they price of these have increased but NOT the quality.

Dry ingredients are thrown outside the bowl

I'm frustrated with how the dry ingredients sre yhrown out of the bowl when using the mixer.

Granddaughter Gift

I have had my faithful KA mixer for over 30 years. Her and I have made hundreds of things since the days she sat on my kitchen counter to help me bake. She will be beyond thrilled with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just started baking and made my first Cherry pie last week. The crust was my biggest fear of failure and it tuned out excellent. I could have never done it without the mixer. I would certainly recommend one for a beginner like me or an experienced person. It is so easy to use. An additional plus is that cleaning after use is a breeze. Nothing but happy feelings about this purchase.

Makes Baking a Breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a stand mixer for years and was generously gifted a Kitchenaid. I've made cinnamon rolls from scratch, chocolate cupcakes, frosting, and muffins. This mixer makes the recipes so much easier than before. My 3 year old is able to use my Kitchenaid with me, and even helps clean it. I'm incredibly happy with this mixer.
