[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I moved from Michigan to Central New York many of belongings were lost they an accident involving on of the moving vans. Yes, my Kitchen Aud that I inherited from my Mother was one of the list belongings. I was very upset at the loss. I went on the website and purchased a new one. My thoughts at the time were that there was no way a new stand mixer would be as great as my older version. I was surprised to find that I was wrong! I love my new stand mixer and the pasta attachment that I purchased. Once again the quality comes through.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ah, kitchen aid - the gold standard of stand mixers. I bought this one to upgrade from a free 30 year old mixer I got from a neighbor. I like the bigger bowl capacity. I trust the motor. The matte black looks great in my kitchen and probably any kitchen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I developed KITCHEN AID Mixer envy after unpacking my daughter-in- love's after her shower. My ancient (antique) mixer kicked the bucket a few years ago and I had just been using a hand mixer because I don't bake much.I went all the way and got an attachment package (2 graters and a slicer) that gave me more counter space after putting my food processor away since my stand mixer does all of the tasks that I used the food processor for. I went with the matte black, and every time I use it just think how pleasurable it is to have such an excellent power tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received as a gift 3 days ago and already I've made bread and pasta. I love it. One note, the attachments don't feel super heavy, makes me wonder if they're of cheaper materials than older versions, but so far that doesn't appear to be causing any issues for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone raves about their KitchenAid Mixer and tells me I won't be able to live without it once I have it. Well, I have it but I have no clue what to do with it (and I'm a fairly skilled cook). Which paddle to use, which speed, why am I switching paddles halfway through a recipe, how am I supposed to know to do that, why won't it scrape the bottom of the bowl (I feel like I still have to do so much manually)? Yeah, it came with a giant instruction book, but that doesn't really answer these questions. I honestly need an in-person class on how to use it. So far, I'm not impressed. It does the same thing my other mixer did, it just takes up a ton of counter space.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this and love it! Perfect! However, it was missing one attachment. It’s been difficult to get into contact with the company. Both my husband and myself have tried to contact them. But works perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer bundle exceeded my expectations. I've been without a stand mixer for a couple of years and this bundle was a great value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason I did not give a five star is that the head of the model I bought ( KSM195PSCA) cannot be locked to keep it lifted. I wish KitchenAid's website and manual were more explicit about that. The only mention of this option in the manual provided with the mixer reads:
"Then, lock** the head to keep it lifted. **Locking option is available on selected models."
The problem with this lack of explanation, is that people like me try to lock the head in the upward position, until they realize that they are just scratching the paint off the back of their brand new mixer...because there is no groove for the locking system to fit in. Too bad, especially given the price of this item...
