It’s just ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems clunky and really loud. My last kitchen aid was much better I don’t like this one at all. It doesn’t work as good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The mixer is unusable after two uses.

I had been using my Mom's 30-year-old Sunbeam stand mixer before it stopped working. After saving for a few years, I bought the mixer and was so excited! I love to bake. The first time I used it the sound was deafening and unexpected. I used it once more, but the sound was so terrible I quit after no more than 20 seconds. I have been in the hospital, ill, and did not use the mixer for some time. When I was prepping for Thanksgiving I thought it might be helpful to use my mixer. A terrible grinding noise sounded when I turned it on. All I had was three eggs inside of the bowl and turned it off. I have no idea what caused such a terrible grinding noise. My Mother bought me a 100-dollar stand mixer (different company) for Christmas. It has been terrific and I have used it many times since.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes a bit of noise

My original kitchen aide from 1976 was gifted to my daughter when I got a larger one. Turns out that the larger kitchen aide is too big for my cooking style now. (Just 2 of us at home now). I bought a new regular size Kitchen Aide 2 years ago. It iWorks ok but it’s much noisier that’s my original one, and doesn’t scrape the bottom of the bowl nearly as well as my original. I don’t use it as much as I did when we had 4 kids at home, and that’s probably a good thing! It’s a good mixer, but I’m not as impressed with it as I was with my 48 year old one!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's PINK and the best mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Chef friend has given me the best mixer ever. Chef G has his own 8qt. Commercial stand lift mixer which I use when I'm at his kitchen. The thing is his is not PINK. I use my mixer every Saturday with Chef when he comes to my kitchen , and we bake lots of goodies.
My family and friends like all the stuff we make. I like my tilt headmixer with both 5qt and 3qt bowls.The only thing is that on the 3qt bowl, the safety pour shield does not fit. Chef likes the shield because it keeps my hands an fingers safe. What is really great is that all of Chef G's attachments will fit on my mixer. This mixer has lots of power for this size mixer. Chef said he has been used these mixers back in the day when it was KitchenAid/Hobart and that with good care, I will be able to hand this mixer to my kids when I get older. That's a long time because I'm only 7 1/2 right now. Also, PINK is my favorite color. Chef G is a best friend of my Dad and it's so great we now set up baking at my home. And to end this Chef said that he was very impressed with my tilthead mixer and the accessories that are with this mixer package.
