Great tool for baking and cooking

Years in the making

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Kitchenaid Stand mixer for my 60th birthday. I have been wanting one for about 30years!! Imagine my disappointment, when on first use it wouldn’t turn off using the control slide. I had to turn it off at the power source each time. It was upsetting. A quick google search confirmed that this does sometimes happen, relating to a timing spring. I was able to replace the mixer easily and checked before bringing it home that it worked correctly. I do love it but my initial impression was tarnished somewhat unfortunately.

I used this nearly every day, I now make sourdough, pancakes, the smoothest mashed potato and using the pasta attachments has made life so much easier. I just got rid of my old hand rolling pasta machine.

I can’t stop thinking of what to make next, it’s such a fabulous tool to have and can genuinely help with anything. I cannot wait to buy more attachments and learn even more skills. I have started with the ice cream bowl - It is magic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Artisan stand mixer about a month ago. Have used both bowls, whisk, dough and pastry attachments so far. Made flat bread dough once a week. Also made biscuits dough and bread rolls dough. Worked very well, hands free, the plastic flour guard is very useful, speed control lever and arm lift lever works well. Most parts are dishwasher safe is very handy. I wish I had bought it a long time ago.
