Nutribullet works great for smoothies but the locking mechanisms is tricky: if the top is not pushed sufficiently hard, it will leak when released and mess up the base.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was looking for a product that does the job of making healthy smoothies fast and easy without spending $200 plus. I've already invested in a high end juicer. I like it but it isn't practical or convenient to use every day. Not to mention the fact that it's huge and is a pain to keep on my counter top. I love my nutribullet. It's compact and attractive enough to leave on my counter. It's powerful. Easy to use. Easy to clean. I purchased this in August and hope it lasts at least 3 years. We use it once or twice a day, almost every day of the week.

I use my NutriBullet every morning and some mornings it's hard to start....for some reason it does not start unless you work with the cup so it will fit in the slots....I'm wondering if there is a defect? I keep my NB clean so I understand what the issues is... I really enjoy making my juice but don't like the fact that it takes some time to get the machine working.

We love our NutriBullet PRO, it's really easy to use and clean-up takes only a minute. The accecssories are actuallly useful. I always feel better when i get that nutrition in, first thing in tho morning. This product has really made it easier to do that.
