Front glass is only 1" larger (top to bottom) than rough opening. Nice if it were a little taller.

The reason I gave a 3 star is because the last 3 or 4 fireplaces I received had stripped screws that hold the glass plating. So it made it kind of difficult when installing. But overall I still like the product.
