Fantastic!

Reading reviews regarding Touchstone's fireplaces significantly helped me in our project planning and decision making process. I hope someone else finds this review helpful when they are planning out their project. My wife and I wanted a stone fireplace in our living room. Our room wasn't huge so we didn't want to go the gas/pellet/or natural route due to those types of fireplaces taking up so much space. We loved that touchstone's fireplaces were only roughly 6 inches deep which would maximize our space yet give us the look that we wanted. We decided on the 50 inch touchstone elite model. It took roughly 4 days from the time of my order until the time the fireplace was at my house. We recessed the fireplace and had stone built around it. It truly is a beautiful fireplace. The flames are as close to a real fire that you can get without actually having one. The heat is great too. I was a bit skeptical of the heat feature due to the nature of our house. We have 9ft ceilings and an open floor plan. Advertised, this fireplace is described to heat up to a 400 sq ft room. Our fireplace is in a room that is 1000 sq ft (open concept) and the fireplace takes the chill out of the room. It is not going to be your primary source of heat as they say but it will warm up a room in addition to your main heating source. As someone that was skeptical of electric fireplaces and a self admitted real-fire lover, I would definitely recommend this fireplace. Pics attached.. still waiting for the hearth but you'll get the general idea of what the fireplace looks like.

The Perfect Electric Fireplace

Couldn’t believe how quickly the TS Elite 50” fireplace was shipped to my door. The fireplace works amazing well with vibrant colors. The heat is surprisingly powerful for my living room. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to spice up their home with a fireplace.

Great addition to room

I have to admit, when my wife first said she wanted an electric fireplace as we were planning home renovations I was opposed and thought it a waste of money. Since I’m writing this review, I obviously relented. Okay, I was wrong. Our TS Sideline Elite is a perfect addition to the room.The whole experience was has been great- from the easy ordering to install. I appreciated having the drawings available online so that I could prep the wall while the unit was in transit. Everything fit as it should and we’ve been enjoying our fireplace for a couple of weeks now. The multiple color and flame choices add just the right ambiance to the room. I’d highly recommend the Sideline Elite for its overall look and features. I, yet again, have to admit that my wife was right.

Touchstone electric fireplace wall insert

Loving this fireplace. We have it recessed in the wall, and is a good heat source for when you first get up on chilly mornings and late chilly nights. Great ambiance when you don't need the heat.

We ended up buying the touchstone because of its sleek look, good price point, and range of features. It blew our expectations away. The design is even better in person. The flames are incredibly realistic. And the heat works wonderfully. We couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase!
