We are so happy with our 42” sideline elite! We debated between spending a little more for this sleeker fireplace versus the extremely well rated sideline. The heat option is great and heats our living room decently. We did experience using our Comcast remote does interfere with the fireplace unit so I would recommend pointing the remote not towards the fireplace when changing channels or volume.

Not quite for us

Good product, though the heating and fire elements didn't quite meet our expectations. The fire not producing noise or ambient light were disappointments. The heating was louder then expected and didn't heat our space much at all. Well made just not for us.

Best Fireplace

We have had our fireplace installed now for about a week. We have been using it every single day. Whether it is being used to warm the room or just for the look of the fire it has been the best addition to our living room. I wish we had installed it sooner. I love that there are options for different colors. I like the more natural look of an actual fire but my toddler sons love the green and blue colors. It has changed the whole look of our living room.

Great value and looks perfect

We had help framing the opening, but once we got it installed, it looked great. We choose to use the logs vs the crystals at first, and we were amazed when the logs lit up like hot embers. That was a nice touch! It doesn't produce a ton of heat in our large vaulted living room, but we wanted more for looks and efficiency than anything else. We recommend highly.

Great product, works well, good appearance and functional heat. One note: The installation dimensions need to add at least 1/8 inch to top and bottom of rough in measurement as listed in instructions.
