Love our inserts!

We have a fireplace that opens up into the living room and the dining room. We bought 2, forte 80006 40” inserts and just love them. They were just a tad short but nothing a little crown molding painted black couldn’t fix. Everyone that comes over goes nuts over them. Great packaging and super easy install!

What brand and model fireplace is that in the customer photos? It's not this fireplace being sold.

Great product but a couple of ideas

Flames are very realistic, however since the room we put it in has a lot of windows, I would’ve appreciated the ability to make the flames even brighter. I also wish they included a faux log insert. I took the one from our old electric fireplace and added some lava rocks at either end which looks quite good. We just don’t prefer the modern look of white rocks or glass. I love how shallow the unit is and that the heat comes out the front. If they made my two modifications I would give it 10 stars. Still very happy with my purchase and would recommend. Works great if you want realistic fireplace dimensions like I do so I can add a cast stone mantel and hearth. Perfect for Florida where I rarely use a heater.

Excellent as advertised

Installed this a few years ago in my newly finished basement. A breeze to install and very pleasant to look at. My basement tends to be quite chilly, and has a ceramic tile floor which doesnt help. Turn this on and it takes the chill right off. Love the fact that my 2 and 4 year old cant burn themselves on it.
