Exactly what we were looking for!

I did a lot of research on electric fireplaces and finally settled on this one based on the photos and other reviews. We wanted something that felt like the real deal and honestly wasn’t sure if an electric fireplace could do that - This one does! We’ve turned it on everyday since installing. Love the ambience of the flame (and the option for different brightness) and it definitely heats up our room. So pleased with the purchase, ties our whole room together.

Touchstone Sideline 36 review

I haven't installed yet, but like what I saw when I unboxed it. I didn't give it 5 starts because the design of the glass could be improved. Because you must raise the glass to remove it in order to change medium, it must overlap the stone. I prefer a slightly set back in the stone fireplace look.

Perfect addition to our screened in porch

I did a lot of research before deciding on the Touchstone sideline 36". I am very happy with my decision! It was quickly shipped, nicely packed up with everything we needed to install. Very easy to install and fits nicely in the corner space we created for the tv and fireplace on the porch. I'm very happy with the look of the flames, the easy to use remote, and the heating feature. There are so many options on the market and most of them are much more expensive. I'm so glad I chose this model.

Sideline Electric Fireplace

We purchased the Touchstone Sideline Recessed Electric Fireplace last March. We are only sending this review now, because our sunroom project was recently completed. Living in Florida, there are a number on cold nights. This fireplace is in a 12 x 24’ room and has easily provided the supplemental heating that we wanted. Also, the atmosphere that it provides is wonderful. We had the outlet installed inside our wall. Other that that, we were able to install the fireplace ourselves. The installation was not complicated. We are really enjoying the Touchstone Sideline Fireplace!

Removing the old fireplace insert was a pain and my husband had to do a little customizing. But once he was finished, the fireplace heater fits perfectly! The heater looks great and the unit provides enough heat to warm our great room. We left the logs in the unit and use both colors of flames to provide a realistic fire look.

Beautiful Addition to my Living Room

The unit was easy to unpack, arrived very timely and in a few hours I had built a surround and installed the fireplace in time for a New Years Eve Party. Everyone loved it and offered great ambiance. Thanks for providing a great product at very reasonable price.
