Great electric fireplace

Good experience overall. Don’t waste your money on the ‘fire crackle’ sound add on. It’s not integrated into the unit, but rather a very cheap handheld speaker that plays a scratchy fire sound. Super cheesy.

It's a super good fireplace, especially at the price. The heat works well and the screen is very sharp and high quality. Easy to install as well. Definitely worth it!

36” Touchstone recessed fireplace

Very attractive and easy to install. Used diagram for rough framing where a wood fireplace was removed with mirror above. Removed mirror and installed outlet & cable for TV above. Also used dedicated outlet to breaker for fireplace. Did a lot of research before buying this recess fireplace, liked that you could screw into framing and choices of crystal and logs. I would highly recommend. Very happy with my choice.

I did my research and loved everything about the touchstone fireplace. Unfortunately, I have not been able to use it yet as my contractor had to stop working on the remodel for a family emergency. I will post as soon as we try it,
