CS2 and More!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor mainly for Counter-Strike 2 because I wanted the Dual Mode feature and QHD at 360Hz. I've been using an Alienware 34" ultrawide for years, and while it was great for Rocket League and everyday use, I never felt like it was the best setup for competitive CS2. After switching to the Odyssey G8, the difference was noticeable right away. Everything feels smoother and more responsive, and my FPS consistently takes advantage of the 360Hz refresh rate. The gaming features are what really stand out. I've spent a lot of time adjusting settings like Black Equalizer, Dual Mode, and Virtual Aim Point. Black Equalizer has been especially useful in CS2, and the joystick control makes changing settings quick and easy.
What surprised me is how versatile the monitor is outside of gaming. I can switch to 5K 180Hz mode for work, browsing, or watching NFL games, and the picture quality looks great. The stand feels solid, doesn't take up too much desk space, and the monitor has a premium feel overall. I joked with my friends that I now have one less thing to blame when I miss shots in CS2, but honestly it really does feel like a monitor built for competitive FPS players. Between Counter-Strike 2 and Battlefield 6, it's been excellent so far, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end gaming monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a huge upgrade from my older gaming monitor, definitely worth every penny and couldn’t imagine going back. It has incredibly crisp and clear picture quality making it look more realistic, bright colors with deep blacks. I’ve been having a blast playing my PC games ever since upgrading, especially fast paced games like Fortnite & overwatch with the insane refresh rate, no lagging making quicker precise movements and turns.

The Best Addition to Your Gaming Setup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have nothing but great things to say about my new Odyssey monitor. It has been a great addition to my gaming setup. I have noticed a big difference in quality, as well as my performance on certain games. I am a big fan of Call of Duty Vanguard, due to the game mechanics, and this only makes the game feel better overall! It makes the game feel so much smoother and helps with my in game performance overall. I do enjoy being able to watch youtube videos as well since the quality is top tier. I recently started playing American Truck Simulator and Forza Horizon 6 on this monitor, and this monitor makes the game feel so realistic. I have enjoyed playing with this monitor and would not change it for anything else. My only regret is that I did not get this monitor sooner. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone who is interested in expanding their gaming setup!

Two monitors in one, and I genuinely use both

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the dual mode may feel like a gimmick - it isn't.
In native mode the screen has a pretty high pixel density at 218 PPI. I was using a generic 27 inch monitor prior to this one and the difference is quite visible when using VS code and lightroom.
In QHD mode - the panel runs at 360 Hz and it is a completely different experience. In CS2, the difference was quite noticeable with no smeared trails across the screen, thanks to the 1ms fast GtG. Great for color and viewing angles.
HDR is okay, but not bad at all. The difference is only noticeable in a dark room where blacks can sometimes read as dark grey, but most other times it is fine. OLED will definitely outshine where, but that's not what this monitor was meant to deliver.
Generous with ports - 2 HDMI 2.1, 2 USB type-A and a separate headphone port. The stand is pretty sturdy that allows height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot quite easily.
Overall, a pretty solid monitor for someone who doesn't want the hassle of 2 separate monitors. An easy buy recommendation from me.
