Stunning 5k beautiful display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Samsung Odyssey G8 27" 5K OLED mainly for productivity. Text is crisp, there's plenty of room for multiple windows, and the OLED gives you deep blacks a regular monitor can't match. I worried the glare-free coating would dull the picture, but colors stay vibrant and never look washed out, even in a bright room.
When I switch to gaming or streaming, the 360Hz refresh rate and ultra fast response time make motion incredibly smooth, with no blur or lag. If you want one premium monitor that handles work during the day and entertainment at night, this is an easy recommendation.

Not for Mac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this is not compatible with MacBook. I used a 54 GBPS Cable Matters Thunderbolt 5 to DP 2.1 cable on a MacBook M3 and never could get 5K on this display even at 30/60 HZ. I tried everything I could but not get 5K. The display rendered 4K and it looked awful. It could be great for other devices but may not be for Mac. All the wait, setup, and troubleshooting was a waste for me and now I will have to pay to return it. Did not get proper help from the Support either; they kept blaming the MacBook.

Perfect for My Needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My thoughts on the Samsung 27" QHD Odyssey G80HF 5K Gaming Monitor—so far, I am absolutely loving it! Photos really don't do it justice.
The picture quality is amazing! Images are super bright, vivid, and clear, and it’s ridiculously easy to adjust the settings to my exact preferences. The sound quality is great too.
The 27" size is absolutely perfect for both my gaming and work needs. I can play all my games with total ease, and when it comes to work, the screen size lets me split the screen and comfortably keep multiple windows open. I also love that I can easily swivel it between landscape and vertical modes, which has been a total game-changer.
Overall, I am really enjoying it and couldn't be happier with the choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been really enjoying my Samsung gaming monitor! 27" makes it a good size, not too bulky, not to small. The 180hz refresh rate is already fast enough for smooth videos, but you can even kick it up a notch with the QHD and double the speed for seamless movements and videos. The color accuracy is precise, as a graphics designer, I need accurate color and have seen a higher accuracy when using my programs, such as Photoshop, when color matching real world items on the screen. There's been no lag in movements when playing videos or games either. Overall, I would highly recommend, it's fast, reliable and produces clean images.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screen resolution is stunning, offering deep contrast ratios and sharp details that make viewing a pleasure. Processing speeds are highly responsive, handling demanding multitasking workflows without any noticeable stutter.
the overall performance is top-tier, the built-in battery life falls slightly short of expectations. Under standard working conditions, it requires a recharge sooner than comparable models on the market. Additionally, the out-of-the-box system configurations require some manual tuning to optimize for power savings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey monitor has been amazing so far. The picture quality is incredible, and the 5K resolution makes everything look sharp, detailed, and vibrant. The refresh rate is incredibly smooth, too. The option to run 5K at 180Hz or switch to QHD at up to 360Hz makes this monitor extremely adaptable to what I’m doing. Games look stunning, but it is also fantastic for everyday use thanks to the crisp display. This monitor has improved my setup and overall gaming experience.
My game of choice is Fortnite. I have noticed more victories since setting up this monitor. I attribute this to the faster refresh rate. This is definitely my preferred monitor for gaming. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to up their gaming experience.
