cute and very useful

I find myself using this all the time; I would of given it 5 stars. If it were not for the lid. It get water under the handle from condensation and when you wash it, very difficult to get it all out unless you take screwdriver and loosen it, drain, then re-tighten. I think this is design flaw, should have rubber stopper or something - it just an are for bacteria to grow.

Poor quality insert

I just received this and am disappointed in the quality of the ceramic insert. There are multiple imperfections and even a small chip right out of the box! The insert doesn't even fit securely in the base, it rocks and tips. It heats fine, but the workmanship is not something I would expect from Crock-Pot, especially since I ordered directly from Crock-pot's website.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful crock pot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crock pot is wonderful! It is a smaller than standard size which I love because it's perfect for a smaller family. Also the smaller size makes it very nice for traveling places so you don't feel like you are lugging around a huge, heavy crock pot. I have made lasagna and a chicken rice bake and they turned out wonderfully! Clean up is a snap with the removable crock. It has ease of use as well. I am extremely happy with this crock pot and highly recommend it! I received this product as a sample to review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the oval casserole crock as a sample to review, and really love it! The design was beautiful and it looked great in my kitchen. The crock was heavy and high quality. I tried lots of new recipes and it cooked them beautifully. I did have to be careful not to overfill it since it's a bit shallower. Loved the locked lid! Great for travel!! The only downfall was that it didn't have a timer. But a really nice product overall.

Great size and great for side dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This casserole crock works great. The size is perfect for side dishes. I cooked a corn casserole in this on the high setting in 4 hours - the sides of the casserole were nice and browned and I had room to bake other dishes in my oven. I especially like the gasket and the tote feature as it travels really well with no leaks! The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because water collects under the lid handle in the dishwasher after cleaning, but that is the same case with other casseroles I have tried. Highly recommend. I received a sample of this product for purposes of this review.

Great Casserole Crock Pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nice thing about this casserole crock pot is that your able to use the oval piece that inserts into the crock, in the oven. I used this to cook a pot roast, and it was the perfect size to feed a family of four. My only complaint would be that it needs an "on" light. I received this product as a sample to try it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent crock pot for the holidays. The smaller size, attractive cover, and locking lid feature make it perfect for transporting party foods. For everyday use the oval shape allowed me to fit a small roast inside and it was perfect for baking a side dish in the oven and serving in the warmer. The ceramic crock is a plus for even heating, oven use and no worries about non-stick coating flaking off into my food. There are only 3 settings: high, low and warm. I would probably use my larger crock pot with a few more automatic features for every day cooking and save this attractive little pot for parties and holiday dinners. I received this crock pot to try for free so I am unable to make a cost comparison, but I give it 5 stars for everything else!

One of my favorite things to make in this is definitely breakfast casseroles! It is beautiful, the tabs on the top make it perfect for transportation, they are very secure; and it cooks very thoroughly and efficiently! I would highly recommend this to everyone.
