Great size

I bought this pot during holidays of 2015. In addition the great locking travel lid, It has turned out to be such a great size for my small empty nest family. It is good for casseroles for two, two chicken breasts w/ BBQ or other sauce, 3-4 boneless pork chops w/any favorite seasoning, small pork loin or beef tips au jus, stuffed peppers, side dishes, even desserts. Anything that would sit at the bottom of other slow cookers and not fill 2/3 of the space like recommended. I use mine frequently, more than I use my 4,5,6 qt. cookers. For me shallow is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using the casserole crockpot. It's design is sleek looking and its low profile makes for easy storgage. The lockable lid feature is great! Makes for easy transporting when taking a dish to a party. I like it best for making hot dips, side dishes or soups. I have a round tall crockpot and a large oval crockpot, but I like the casserole crockpot the best. It isn't as bulky, doesn't take up as much counter space, and can easily be used with the crock pot bags which I love! Great piece to add to your collection!

I recently bought this crock pot and have used it a couple of times now. It is a good sized crock and perfect for smaller amounts of food to be made instead of a such large amount. The pot and design are cute and a refreshing change from the usual kinds of crocks on the market. Recipes (written for 4 qt to 6 qt crocks) can be cut in half; any recipes that were written for a 1 quart crock can be doubled. I also bought the calendar sized cookbook and it has alot of different types of recipes that can be adapted to the 2.5 qt. pot (cut them in half). I recommend this pot and is worth the money spent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crock pot is perfect for dips, desserts, and small batches of soup. It's really easy to set up and leave during the day--then you get to come home to dinner ready to go! I love the colors and design, too. I can leave this out on my counter all the time and don't feel like I need to hide it away when it's not being used.

this cooker is ideal for casseroles for 1-4 people . I have the larger one [ 3.5 qt ] but really prefer the smaller size . It cooks to perfection . East to clean and very attractive as well.
Cons: i can not say there is any cons

I bought this to take casseroles to the office and to a Christmas Dinner. It was perfect.
It cooked very evenly without any issues. Lock it up, pack it up and take it with you.
Love this design and looks "table pretty". Do remember that it is a 2.5 quart size. So makes a casserole the size of a 8 1/2" long x 7 1/2" wide x 2 3/4" deep. Similar to a 9x8 " oval pan.
