Perfect family of four crock pot

great crockpot poor electric cord

I have owned this Crockpot since Nov 2022. I love it and use it weekly. But the electric cord starts to bend and fray at the base connection and eventually wires are visible. When I plugged it in today it sparked and caused some burns on base. This is a design issue and the wire connection should be stronger and hold up to bending and use. This issue was reported by another reviewer so I can see this is not uncommon. The cord connection at the base should be stronger .

Love the product But Cord Danger

I have several crockpot products.. This was one of my favorites.. Plugged it in last night and had a horrible spark and now burn on my counter top… Blew a breaker. Had no idea what happened until I picked it up… Is was past warranty time but a huge concern.. need better cords…
I would recommend this to a friend!

Weak knob

Bought this about three months ago. Went to use it yesterday for Fourth of July and when I tried to turn it on the knob broke. The plastic that connects the knob to the body of the crockpot is weak and snapped off. This was maybe the third time it has been used.

Low setting boiled contents, not a gentle simmer.

Not happy with this "slow cooker". I love the size and styling, as I am a single person. However, the cooker boils on the low setting. Wanted a slow cooker that simmers, not boils. I will be returning for refund and looking for a slow cooker that will perform as advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
