Perfect size but

I bought this in March. Since I’m living by myself it’s the perfect size.
After using it for 8+ months I’m starting to notice the the crock is crazing: has developed a series of tiny cracks. Still usable but my 20 year old crock pot which has had heavy use has not started to craze yet. In addition, the one end of the oval definitely heats more than the other. Bottom line. Love the size but am concerned that crock pot quality has decreased dramatically over the years.

If you run your fingernail over the surface of the stoneware and it does not catch on any of the cracks, the cracks do not go all the way through and are just spider cracks. Spider cracks are a minor defect in the outer most layer of the glaze on the stoneware. They are not considered a safety issue and will not progress into full cracks causing any safety hazards. Awful

I put a 2-lb chuck roast on high for two hours and then turned to low. Eight hours later the meat is rare! Don’t buy! What a waste of money. I will certainly buy another brand of slow cooker but never a crock pot!

I have an older version of this Crockpot. It does not have the ability to lock down the lid, which I would love, but I take it with me with the use of rubber bands occasionally. It is the perfect size for 2-4 servings. I actually use it more than any of my other Crockpots - 3 or 4 times per week. I've never had any problems with it - I just love it - and may someday purchase one with the lockdown capability.

There was a crack in the crock and now it is split

I need a replacement crock as this new crock is cracked and split ... And I see they don't offer one!! This is very new and I'm very disappointed!

My concern is safety. I found a split in the outer coating of the power cord exposing bare wiring. It appears to be a design defect in that the wire position has a 90 degree bend when in use causing unnecessary stress on the power cord. I was on link thinking there may be a manufacturing product recall.

perfect size

I bought one of these because for our family it's the perfect size. However, from day one it has not worked properly. It seems to heat up (you can feel heat on the outside), but nothing cooks in it! I need to know where I can return it for a replacement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No replacement lid??

I bought this a few months ago and have used it a few times (less than five times). I like it for making smaller recipes, or making half of a recipe. Today the top handle broke on it and I’m disappointed to find out I cannot order a replacement lid. This crock has a very specific design, so it’s not like I’ll be able to use a different lid to fit it. :-(
