Replacing a very old Honda unit that’s been great. Like the features of this unit and bought this after great experience on Westinghouse generator. Waiting on weather to warm up for first use. Confident in Westinghouse and will report back if I encounter any issue. Looking forward to many years of usage.

LEAKY PUMP

OVERALL ASSEMBLY WAS QUITE EASY, THERE WAS RESIDUAL OIL ALL OVER THE UNIT, CLEANED THE UNIT OFF. FILLED OIL, ADDED FUEL, ATTACHED THE HOSE, BLED THE AIR OUT OF THE SYSTEM. UNIT STARTED ON THE SECOND PULL. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE WATER PUMP IS LEAKING OIL OUT OF THE BACK OF THE UNIT ( THAT EXPLAINS WHY IT WAS COVERED IN OIL). I AM CERTAIN THIS WILL LEAD TO A FAILURE. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE WARRANTY DEPARTMENT TO SEE HOW TO PROCEED. HOPEFULLY THIS IS A ONE OFF PROBLEM. WILL UPDATE
