Powered the whole house

bought this model the day we ran out of power. This beast ran for 4 days straight without any issues. I actually ran out of extension cords.

Meltdown after only 167 hrs

This item overheated and did not automatically shut off. It basically melted the battery casing and blew off the oil cap. We were lucky it didn't blow up and start a fire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have only had this generator for a few weeks. I ran it under a half load for two hours, then changed the oil. I use Mobil1 10W30. Starts and runs, quiet and smooth. Very happy with price.
