Good Residental Power Washer

Great unit but my only complaint is the location of the muffler which is right near the outlet hose. Got to be careful when finished and unscrewing the hose. Also hose has already touched the muffler because of this and burnt the rubber cover

I bought this washer for features and power having an opportunity to use it I can say I'm quite happy with my purchase I do have a suggestion concerning the hose and spray gun connection as well as the connection of the high pressure to the pump I have had to add quick connections to both to prevent hose kink during use as well as easier roll up of the hose after use a much neater use of the provided hose storage hanger also a shut off valve on the soap tank as well as a quick connect to the soap siphon hose would be ideal otherwise a trouble free unit easy start plenty of cleaning power

After researching for quite sometime for pressure washers, I found that for what I'm needing to do around the house and yard, the gas WPX3400 is the pressure washer for me! I followed the well described, manual and started it right up and used it yesterday, and it worked as described. I would highly recommend this pressure washer!!

If You Need Power, This is a Good Choice

I have had the electric model for over a year and it works well for routine pressure washer jobs. Then had a need for blowing out my underground pipes coming from the eaves troughs. Three had blockages and my electric didn't have the power to push the sewer hose up to the blockage with any authority. So I bought the 3400 and the power difference was well worth it. So having both, the electric allows you to not screw around with gas and the smell but you are always pulling a cord (or multiple ones) around which will get in the way and the power is more than enough for washing car, cleaning off a years worth of dirt off of walkways/patios, lawn furniture, tables, etc. But when you need the juice for heavy grime or jobs like an outdoor drain line or getting a jet of water up to the second story of house, I have to vote for the gas model. The gas offers more portability too. I deducted one star for location of connections. More difficult than the electric but some users have posted an attachment to make this easier. I haven't tried that.

It has been good so far. Cleans very well. Easy to assemble. I have noticed the vibrations of the washer has our garden hose rubbing against the tire which may later create holes. It also takes a hand to stabilize the pressure washer because it becomes unbalanced from the force needed to start it. Overall, the purchase is worth it.
