Ruined my Garden Hose on 1st Use

Ruined my garden hose on very 1st use. Either the vibration of the wheel or the heat from the motor made a hole in the garden hose on the end closest to where the water hose connects to the pressure washer. Had to buy a new garden hose - more money out of my pocket. Also seems hard to start once you shut it off. Constant fear that the pressure hose will touch the motor and cause a hole in it like other reviews have stated. Otherwise, it has power and gets the job done. Oil has to be changed after every 5 hours of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It went together easily. Engine is the same as in other pressure washers, so it should last a long time. Haven't used yet, but a footrest would help when pulling the recoil start rope.

So Far So Good

After reviewing many many videos about pressure washers I bought the Westinghouse 3400/2.6 pressure washer. I read the manual twice, will be my bible besides some maintenance videos. Unboxed, a bit of a hassle but no issues. Found the kink in the soap tube, easy easy fix: Done (Why all the whining). The snap-on handles are a bit wobbly (I would have preferred bolt on’s). Came with wheels attached which was great! So far so good! If you read the manual (mandatory for newbies like me) you see the necessary procedures, precautions, and maintenance required to have a well-running pressure washer. Of course, the proof is in the pudding so I’ll update you after a couple of projects.
