Great generator with plenty of power for it's size

After much research on inverter generators I'm very happy that I chose the iGen4500DF. Seems to be built with quality parts and the output noise level is much less then my old 2200W generator. Easy starting with key fob, push button and pull cord.

Started without hesitation

We have been looking for a back up power supply that had good features, is easy to use and is reasonably priced. The iGen4500DF fits the bill. Although I only picked it up just yesterday, I am very pleased with the unit.
After filling the crankcase with the provided oil, and connecting the included (and charged) battery it started on the first press of the button. Note: the key fob (another great feature) worked first try too. After letting it warm up for few minutes, I connected it to our refrigerator and a couple of running shop tools in my garage and it handled the load no problem.
While I do not look forward to loosing power in the future, I can now breath easier with the iGen4500DF in our garage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The generator came after a backlog of about 2 months. Setup was easy and it fired right up after putting gas into it. it is every bit as quite as the comparable competitor units for twice the money. push button start and keyfob remote are a nice touch.

I bought it and got it in a few days ago and have been running it and breaking it in and so far so good. So far it does leak a little bit of oil and I'm trying to find where it's coming from. The longer I run it the less it's leaking so I don't know if some spilt when I was filling it up or the drain plug may not be tightened up enough from the factory draining the oil out of it after they tested it before they sent it out. I'm hoping it's one of the two. Time will tell.
