Just bought this generator as an emergency back up for our house. I really like the dual fuel capability as well as the remote start. It clearly was well thought out

Right Capacity and Fuel Options I Needed

Formerly living in hurricane alley, I have had more experience with temporarily living off the grid than most. One of the big lessons I have learned is that gasoline/diesel are impossible to find. But, you can find propane! And propane lasts forever. So I wanted the best of both worlds and this is it. We recently moved to central Virginia, where the need for emergency power made a paradigm shift. Air conditioning is not on the top of the list anymore, since most power interruptions occur in the winter here. The need for heat (powered by propane) and safe keeping of food are now at the top of the list. This let me get a smaller generator (previously had a 10K). Easier to handle, shared fuel source and the remote start! I haven't had to use the generator in an emergency, yet. But I do run my generators under load for test every 2 months or so. And this unit is a dream. Not near as heavy as the 10K, but enough for all the loads I need to run. Starts right up, and the remote will be a blessing.

Ready Set Go

My generator box arrived some what damaged on the outside, but did not appear to have any damage as to the contents which were all there as stated in the manual. I had previously spent time reading the enclosed manual which is a great suggestion so the assemble and inspect went quickly. I cut the box apart carefully to remove the generator, saved the side panel with the serial numbers for future reference, inspected the generator for any damage, and finding none I took an inventory of various included parts. Everything was in the boxes as represented in the owner’s manual. I took out the generator and hooked up the battery to the included charger to make sure it had a fresh charge. I completed these initial steps and feel ready to be a standby for any sudden power outages. In a few months, Florida’s hurricane seasons starts, and I will complete the full break in and running of the generator and update this review.

Great features!

Easy start-up, works great, remote start works great, great features like digital display power and fuel usage, love compact size and operationally quiet. I just purchased so haven't put it to a great test as of yet. But so far, it looks and operates great out of the box.

Great Product

Bought this unit one week ago. Tried it out on my living quarters horse trailer. This unit easily ran the 13.5k a/c while running the the microwave and all the lights. Love the dual fuel option and the remote start.

Just purchased a couple days ago, filled the oil,filled the fuel, started right up. Even under small test load it’s incredibly quiet!! so far so good!! Very happy I chose this one!!
