Took a lot of time researching this purchase and finally chose this generator. To be used as a backup power for home use medical equipment. Very happy with my purchase. Runs clean, quiet and reliably. Made the right choice.

Smooth Running

The generator started easily and runs relatively quiet. The oil filler location is difficult to reach, and it seems to leave spots of oil after running it.

just started up my new westinghouse inv/gen for the first time. first use was with propane. started on second pull and the first pull thereafter. also it is crazy quiet. great product, great buy!
Ps. Use the provided threaded funnel to add oil. excellent addition to the provided toolkit!

All Bonus Features Included with this Inverter!

I just went through the easy to follow setup guide. All features work as advertised! The generator is quiet, starts right up with both gas and LPG options. The remote start is a great added bonus! Will not have to go out in the heat or the cold to get things running for my needs.

Great Deal For The Price

Compared several models from different companies. Feature for feature the iGen5000DFc beat the others for me. I like the dual fuel capability as it provides flexibility. It seems very well built. That said, I hope we don't need it but so glad we have it if / when we do.
