iGen5000DFc > Hurricane Milton

We bought the Westinghouse iGen5000DFc when we moved to Florida (from Minnesota) as part of our hurricane preparations. Hurricane Milton put it to the test and the generator performed amazingly! It was capable of powering a deep freezer, refrigerator, portable air conditioner, 2 fans and other small appliances as needed (i.e., Keurig coffee maker) and was only using 50% capacity. We highly recommend the iGen5000DFc!

COMPACT AND EFFICENT

we bought this item because we live in an area that seems to have a lot of power outages. we live in an apartment complex so compact is very important to us. This not only fits well in our space it also has an option to use propane , which is very handy.

Pleasantly quiet and easy to use

After running my older full-frame generator which is very loud, I was pleasantly surprised (even after reading reviews that the generator was quiet) how quiet the generator was. Also I was impressed that the generator noise level adapts to the amount of load being placed on it, so it can be really quiet with smaller loads. I also liked how easy it was to start and shut down, and the handle and wheels makes it easy to move around. So far, I love this generator!

Quiet,light and dual fuel

I really like how quiet this generator is and light enough to pick up to get in rear of truck and love the fact we can run it on propane and dont have to worry about spilling fuel. Only down side is out of box we noticed rear panel is cracked,hopefully warranty will replace it
