Nice Generator

Just got my generator. Added some synthetic oil and fuel and it fired right up. Had to use it immediately because we had apower outage due to huge snow storm. Worked great.
Also tried out the propane feature and the unit started right up..no issues so far. Gave it a 4* because it is still new and I haven’t had enough time with it. Very happy so far. Also have a 2500 and it has worked well too. Thanks!!

Solid Generator

Heavy, well built generator. First one arrived damaged; received second within 3-days. Care must be taken adding oil the first time. Not consistent amount left in various generators, per reviews. Push funnel in tight and put a rag in against the bottom of the upper oil fill to catch drips that stay close to fill tube (do not mess with lower oil drain plug... can drain oil out the fill by using funnel -- much easier). Pull cord a couple times (with electronics OFF) to splash-lube everything before taking final oil reading level. Per reviews, generator will not run if not enough OR too much oil. Don't start the generator until you get the oil level right.

I bought this earlier this month and I it has been a huge improvement for my camper. I have owned several normal generators which were loud and cumbersome, last year I bought a small Ryobi Inverter Generator which was nice but it just could not handle the load that I was putting on it. A friend of mine had this generator and I really liked the remote start and stop that it had and the amount of load that it was able to handle. I especially like the fact that if I happen to run out of gas, I can grab one of the propane tanks off of my camper and continue to run.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to setup out of box. Battery charged and generator started right up on first push of the fob button. Nice and quiet running.

Great Product

I'm very happy with all the great features that come with the IGEN4500DF. Same features are usually only found on more expensive generators.. I love the extended handle for easy maneuvering and the easy transfer from gas to propane. I would definitely recommend this product to those looking for a great buy!

Very good features at a good cost

I just bought the product, so cannot give a lot of feedback. However, it started immediately using propane. The manual has not been updated with the newer control panel
