The Consumer Reports gives Westinghouse Inverter Generators the highest ratings. I purchased my iGen4500DFcv last month and we now have backup power with a Total Harmonic Distortion of less than 3%.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Set up

As an older woman, was easy to set up. A bit heavy so I purchased separately a small flat dolly. Instructions were straightforward. So far, haven't had the need to use, but testing it was a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Used it with propane for 2 days during the Tropical Depression Beryl that left many of us in Houston without power for 2 days.
I ran the fridge, a window AC, and all the house lights, even the the occasional microwave use and no hiccups at all.
Easy to use and connect.
I would highly recumbent this generator.

Just got it - works great on propane, figuring out

Just opened the box and followed the directions for adding oil, etc. Added gas and started it. It started right up, no problems, but was idling up and down like it was low on gas. Switched over to propane and it ran great. I added more gas thinking maybe it was low and tried it again. It still idled up and down. When I turned eco mode on it still did it, just at a lower RPM. However, when under load, it runs just fine. Need to get this figured out then I'm sure it will be great.

Lots of great features

I bought this generator to use for camping because all the electric sites get reserved so far in advance. It arrived in good shape and I was eager to test it out. The one I bought was an opened box refurbished unit. It didn't come with a manual so I looked it up online and printed it out. Filled it with oil and gas but had to charge up the battery. Once all that was done it fired right up. It is super quiet. I only put a gallon of gas in it and the meter said it had 5 hours of run time at idle. When I tried it on my camper the 13500 btu AC made the meter show it was at 50% capacity. Next I turned on the 700 watt microwave and the meter showed 75%. Shut those 2 off and the generator idled down and just purred quietly. With just all my lights on it barely comes off idle. So far I'm super pumped about this new camping toy.

Amazing sound

Bought this in time as Beryl came through southeast Texas. Were able to run refrigerator, fans, fish tanks, charge devices all while not being deafened. For a generator this one sounds amazingly quiet.
