Quiet & Dual Fuel!!

I've been wanting a dual fuel generator for a while and finally decided to purchase this Westinghouse iGen4500DF. It's much quieter than the classic generator's you might be used to and the ability to use either gasoline or propane is great, there's a selector on the control panel to choose fuel type. I intend to use primarily propane to extend the life of the carburetor when the generator sits for extended periods. The control panel will show hours run, voltage, fuel level, power output, etc and has push button start. This is a nice generator and I can't wait to really get into using it.

I've been watching the generator market for about a year and the iGen4500DF clearly has the competition beat from a feature perspective. Propane capability AND remote start sealed the deal for me. The panel has a built in usage gauge so you can keep track of hours between maintenance. The power output receptables have every use coverred, even for powering our travel trailer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We outgrew our 2200w Hon** suitcase inverter and needed to upsize. After doing some research and talking to other RVers we chose the igen4500. A bit sceptical since we didnt have any direct expierence with Westinghouse generators or inverters but the iGen4500 had lots of features for a very reasonable price.
Especially appreciated how EVERYTHING was included in the box with the inverter... oil, tools, funnel and even a battery charger! Unit was very easy to prep for use and started up with a simple push of the remote.
So far only have 30+ hours on the unit but to date it has performed very well and has easily exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommend the iGen4500 to anyone.

Best Dual Fuel Inverter Generator for RV

Easy to setup and runs great. Powers my RV completely including A/C. It is very quiet and other campers loved how quiet it was. I like using propane instead of gas because it doesn’t gum up or go bad between usage.
