Awesome setup.

We bout our iGen4500 so we would have more options when boondocking. Dual fuel makes it so simple and the pull out handle makes it easy to manuver. Again, Awesome setup.

Dual Fuel is great! Quiet!

I purchased a year ago but just set the generator up this weekend. Decided to try propane first. I got it ready and plugged it in for several days to let battery charge. Pulled out today and the generator started right up. Runs quiet! Going to try it out on a primitive camp trip. I will say the fit and finish isn’t great on this but overall for the $ seems to be a good generator. Hope it lasts, as it will only get used a couple of times a year for camping and as a back up if lose power.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So Far, So Good

I purchased this dual fuel iGen4500 DFc generator a month ago and though I have not needed it for a power outage yet, that is primarily why I purchased it. I had help from a neighbor who is more experienced with generators than I to set it up and get it running. I then ran it myself for the 5 hour break in period that day as we were expecting a storm. I have given it 4 stars because it was a bit challenging to get the battery hooked up, due to the fiddly strap and positioning it properly. Also, it took a few tries to get it to start, and finally started it with the remote at a distance. The instructions said to vary the load during the break in period, and I used a hair dryer to accomplish that. I’m hopeful that I can give a more detailed review after using it for a time. I chose it because it has features that allow me, a senior female, to move it around easily, use different fuels, and use the digital readout to give me up to date info on fuel, load, running time etc.

Great for RVing

I purchased the inverter generator to use with our RV travel trailer in the mountains 2 months ago where we find many areas don't have electric hook-ups. We made sure to follow the break in instructions before taking it out on the road. We camped at 10,000 ft elevation without doing the suggested high-altitude kit for the carburetor to see how it would perform. The generator worked fine with the microwave and when I 1st tried to run the single AC unit the circuit breaker tripped off and I had to restart the generator. What I found that worked was to start the AC at low to moderate cool rather than high cool position to start with and the unit worked fine. Once the AC was running, I could adjust the temp to a cooler position, and everything worked fine.
I bought the dual fuel model so I could use either gas or propane and also got the remote start feature which is very handy so you don't have to go out early am to start the generator to get the coffee maker going.

Having to leave a review for a free bonus item. So far so good, have to install high altitude kit before starting up so I can’t speak to how it runs yet. Also, will have a review of customer service since I’m having to hunt down the kit. That part isn’t easy so far!
