I purchased this product to replace my Champion Generator. The IGen4500 has so far worked flawlessly right out of the box. It is considerably lighter and better built than my current genset. After the break in period we camped in the Northeast for over five days and the IGen4500 powered our RV and all its accessories. We are taking out again in a few weeks for a longer trip and I expect meeting and exceeding my needs and expectations.

Dual fuel generator

Purchased for emergency backup power. Filled with oil and connected LP gas — started and ran no problem. Manual doesn’t mention it but you only need to engage the choke until engine sputters once. Then half choke to start and off choke when it begins running. One bolt was loose and rattled out (from inside the front handle) but it went back in easily using a 5/16” nut driver.

Initial startup

Initial start up after adding oil, connecting battery and adding fuel took a while and after no success with remote/push button start tried manual start which did not work until trouble shooting and choke manipulation.
No issues after the initial start.
