Good Generator

Bought this unit for its features (specifically: dual fuel and the inverter) and so far I am quite happy with it. Using it to power my house (minus all the 240 V appliances) and it seems to be more than adequate for this purpose Typically using about 700W (it's a small home). We have had one four hour power outage during which it was put to use but I am firing it up every weekend for a short period of time just to ensure it is in good running order. Highly recommended!

Just recently Purchased. Overall Happy with the performance of the iGen4500DFc. As a Mobile Detailer I am able to have multiple tools / Accessories Turned ON without any issues.

Unpacking and getting ready for service.

Bought the generator a couple weeks ago. It started on the first try once I finished getting it ready. I was surprised that the battery wasn't secured before the generator was boxed up for shipment. Battery access opening could be larger and the rubber strap that is to hold battery in place should be secured with a fastener on the back side. It is very hard with the small opening to hold the strap up while putting the battery in the generator. Some sort of hook to hold the strap up while inserting the battery would be nice also. I don't look forward to replacing the battery when it eventually will be needed.
The access panel to fill it with oil and then check the oil level could be bigger also. couple items that might have kept me from purchasing this generator if I had known about them before purchasing.
Says it was built in Viet Nam, maybe they have smaller hands. Evidently they didn't want to secure the battery before it took the long journey to the United States. Maybe they thought it was a pain to do also since didn't do it. So far seems like a nice product which could be a lot better if the above modifications were made.

I purchased this generator to use camping with my RV. I unpacked it, installed the battery and filled it with oil and fuel. It started right up with no issues. I used it to run the air conditioner and a vacuum cleaner while cleaning up the inside of my camper while parked in my driveway. When I switched on the shop vacuum it did cause the overload breaker to trip while running the air conditioner. But I reset it while leaving the vacuum switch on and both the AC and vacuum started right up. So far I have only ran it a few hours with no issues. It is a little louder than I expected, but it is quieter than an open frame generator. Seems like a quality unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!
