This is an amazing generator. Have not had to use it yet. My neighbor got the same on minus duel fuel. It is quiet. For all the features you can't ask for a better deal.

She's a bit heavy but super quiet. The fit and finish is very nice, and the electric start is a really nice feature. I had difficutly running it off of my home LPG line, but it must be a pressure issue - and not something with the generator. That being ,said, tech support was AWESOME! Very responsive and helpful. Built in wheels and handle is great, remote start/stop awesome also. The biggest bang for your buck out there on a dual-fuel inverter of this capacity!

I bought this generator because I am in a zone in California where our power company shuts off our power when it gets windy and dry during a Santa Ana wind event. I work at The Home Depot and most of our generators were sold out in the store by the time our first wind event started. I'm glad I wasn't impulsive and just bought any old generator, even though my power had been cut off twice in a week.
I started researching and I noticed the Westinghouse generators had excellent reviews, better than the rest as a whole. What I wanted was something quite, electric and remote start, was able to power the tv, computer, the fridge, the toaster oven, microwave ,the water pump for the well, washer, dryer , a hot plate, and lights. Of course you can't run everything at once but I can run the fridge and the microwave and 3 bright 5000 lumen led lights at once. Just have to be careful what your turning on. It is very quite, not like rest of the generators in the neighborhood. I can barely hear it in the house. Very efficient too! Has a power saving switch where it runs at idle until you put a load on it so it saves fuel. I run it on propane because it's cheaper, cleaner and stores a long time unlike gas. This unit is for you if you like it quite and are not concerned with only running more than 2 major appliances at once, don't want to pull start an engine, save fuel and actually move it by yourself with relative ease with a telescopic handle.

... but do NOT follow the instruction "pour the entire bottle of oil into the engine". Maybe I got lucky and they sent me extra oil, but now I have a large oil stain on my deck.
Otherwise, seems great - its pretty awesome to be able to turn on a generator with a key fob instead of dislocating my shoulder with the recoil start

I bought this from Amazon and it came quickly. I opened up all access points and checked it over for loose wires or damage in shipping, found nothing wrong and added the oil. I haven't had any outages since it came, but I ran it for two hours, on gas and on propane, and it ran well, powering a portable heater at different loads.
I am a little concerned about draining the oil when the time comes. The manual that came with the generator said to tip the generator to one side with the fill plug out and let it drain back out. That seems like it will get all over the inside of the case. The online manual suggests that there is a small bolt to remove just above the rubber plug in the bottom. That may be better. Time will tell....
Anyway, I am ready for our next power outage.

Relatively easy set up, runs quietly. Leaks oil if moved, which is a pain as it's pretty hard to dead lift it. Technical writing on the intructions could be a little better. I expect this to last a long time and serve our needs well.
