Great Generator, very cost effective

Great mid size gen. Have a open frame 5500 and this is is much more quiet. Great features, fired right up on propane.

Great features in a manageable size

I just bought this generator. I have not used it yet, but it appears to be very solidly constructed. It is every bit of 105 pounds. I like the fact that it can run on propane so I don't have to worry about the fuel going bad. The manual says the first oil change should be after 25 hours, but many people on-line suggest much sooner. Also, it says not to exceed 50% load for first 5 hours of operation. That seems like a long time to break in. I am looking forwarding to testing and having this unit ready for the next power outage. Packaging was damaged, but unit appears to be no worse for wear. Fortunately many on-line have advised to fill the oil reservoir carefully and test frequently to avoid over filling. Will be buying a gen tent to operate on back deck.

Great RV Generator

This generator is very compact and starts like a dream. The remote comes in handy at night so you can stop generator without going outside. Just remember to turn power switch off in the morning or after using the generator for more than 12 hours. If the switch is left on it will drain the battery over a 12 hour period. The weight of the the generator is approx. 100lbs and may need the help of anoter person to lift. I haul this in the back of my pick up truck but bear in mind that the generator needs to breath otherwise the co2 monitor will shut the engine down. I like this generator and would highly recommend to anyone.

Many features in a concise package

Just got it. Was careful to put correct amount of oil in as suggested by other reviewers.
Attached to propane. Started right up. Very quite. Everything appears to be working perfectly. Sturdy construction. Will be happy if all keeps on functioning this well.

Great value, features and quiet.

Wanted a quiet generator for state parks camping. Love the 30amp RV outlet.
Used it for a Christmas parade float with live band. Quiet enough not to disturb the music.

Perfect emergency backup generator.

Generator is perfect for emergency backup. It’s only 120V so i just wired the hot lead to both hots in my transfer switch. Note you can only run 120V circuits this way. Ran as many lights as I wanted, fridge, furnace, and one kitchen appliance at a time to cook. Ran for 48 hours straight during this last winter storm with no hiccups. Just shutdown to swap out propane bottles. Runtime was 18 hours on one 20lb bottle of propane and that’s with eco mode off. Would recommend.
