Love the features

Recently purchased the iGen4500DF for my 30 AMP camper. The dual fuel option is a really great feature which gives you the flexibility of using propane or gas. I plan on hooking up the generator to my camper's rear quick connect hose so I don't have to bring any extra tanks or gas cans.
The remote start worked like a charm and will come in handy at night when you need the power and you can remotely turn it off when done.
Also, very impressed with the noise levels.

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED

I did a lot of research before I choose this generator.
Being partially disabled I have trouble lifting and moving heavy items. This unit works for me.
I wanted something to use while camping and for the power outages that we have every year.
This has the POWER that I need.
It's QUITE to run. I wont feel guilty running this and waking up the neighbors.
I wanted DUEL FUEL, gas is getting stupid to buy these days.
It is HEAVY, I knew that going in to it. A little over a hundred pounds. The TELE-SCOPING HANDLE fixes the problem of moving it around. This handle comes out of the bottom of the unit not the top. By coming off the bottom it gives you a much better angel to hold and move it around without using just your arms. The 2 LARGE HANDLES on the top make it easier to lift.( My son lifts it for me when I can't)
The REMOTE is a really nice feature. No pulling a cord to get it started. There is one but just as a backup to the backup. I don't have to get up in the morning when it's cold outside to start the generator. Now I just push a button and bingo. I can run my microwave and furnace and anything else I want. I can start my day with a nice hot cup of coco and not set a foot outside.
NO NEED FOR A BATTERY TENDER. This has built in recharging and comes with the cord that you just plug into the control panel.

Some of the other little things that I like. It comes with a small tool kit that has the tools you need to do the usual maintenance. A little funnel so you don't make a mess filling it with oil.
The 1 down fall is the location of the bolt to empty the oil when doing an oil change. I will be looking for something to make that easier.

All in all this is a great unit. If you need or want a generator as an emergency backup or an alternate power source while camping you can not go wrong with this unit. I highly recommend this unit.

Quiet and Lightweight

Easy to use, perfect for powering a trailer with little set up. Add oil and gas and it is ready to go. So far seems well built. Looking forward to a summer of camping! And the wife doesn't mind how it looks at the campsite!

Thoughtful features…..

Very thoughtful design. Control panel very straight forward and digital display is very convenient. My unit started right up with propane and quieter than I even had anticipated.
It’s not easy to lift with a dry weight over 100 pounds. Wheels are solid but a softer material than the typical hard plastics which makes rolling around smooth and quiet. The extension arm makes rolling around on the two wheels convenient but I wish it had a third swivel wheel for even easier movement. The build feels solid but we will see in time, if there are any long term issues.

A great generator. My family has 3 of them. Only rated 4 star since it was shipped without a battery access cover. I will be contacting Westinghouse to see if I can get one. Would be 5 it it came with it.
