Great Features for the Price

Purchased this for our travel trailer when boondocking, and as a home backup inverter generator. It is quite for its size, it's RV ready with a 30-amp TT-30R outlet, gives me the option to run on gas or propane, and the remote start function is great. I really like that it comes prewired with a trickle charger to keep the battery topped off during off usage periods. The included tool set is enough for minor maintenance such as oil and spark plug changes.
The three features that sold me most was one, it will run on propane so that I don’t have to hauling around gas cans while boondocking. Two, the rated watts on propane are, 3,330 Running and 4,050 Peak, which is more than plenty to run our Coleman Mach 3 13,500 btu AC (3,500 startup watts, 1,075 running watts), with plenty of power left over for other electrical needs. Third, the remote start feature. Let’s face it, the older you get, the less you want to head out into the cold or rain to start a generator.

Others have complained about the 30 amp outlet being installed upside down, and the electric choke control wire not being connected, but I had neither of these issues. Hopefully Westinghouse has listened to their customers and fixed both assembly issues. The only thing I might change is that it ships with a 33-inch propane hose and I feel that a 48-64 inch hose would have been better, as it would provide more options for propane tank placement.
All in all, I would recommend this unit

Generator looks good out of the box. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet but it arrived quickly and in good shape. I like the roll around handle. It’s easy to move.

Everything I was looking for

This generator checked every box I was looking for: inverter, remote/electric/recoil start, dual-fuel, high wattage. While it is heavy, it is powerful enough for the house, and portable enough for RVing.
