So happy with gen. So far. I want the most quiet inverter generator I could get and this unit is great. Can stand right next to it and talk in a normal voice

I purchased this generator and received it on time undamaged in the box. I followed the start up instructions and it started with no issues. Will be using it this weekend after the break in period. There were no rust issues around the gas fill area as I had previously seen on other reviews.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Researched this purchase for hours and am very pleased so far! Great packaging. Easy instructions. Fast (1 week) shipping. A bit bigger than I thought, but it does everything it says! Very happy with this generator!

So far my iGen4500DF lives up to the Hipe!

I've only had this igen4500DF for a short while. But I've been testing it with load and it's been performing perfectly. The remote start works great, the engine runs smooth, and the metering is accurate. Using an oscilloscope the AC Output sine wave looks perfect. The stow away handle makes it easy to move the unit into place. Compared to my old open frame generator this iGen is super quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great after first 6h of use

I was a little hesitant on buying this given some of the negative reviews about quality control and the choke issue. However I’m very glad I did purchase this. It arrived in perfect condition other than the battery harness was not properly holding the battery in place… battery likely came unstrapped during shipping. Battery was fine and just strapped it back into place.
The set up is quick and easy. I upgraded to synthetic oil rather than using the oil it came with. It started up without issue and ran great.
It is amazing how quiet this is compared to other generators I’ve used. And the power usage LED indicator and gas tank run time remaining feature is great to have. I particularly like how it has the future of been able to turn the gas off a.k.a. to propane to run the gas out of the carburetor.
I did the break-in suggested for the first 5-hours to let the engine and more likely the generator coils get broken in… the manual says:
“ For proper break-in, DO NOT exceed 50% of the rated running watts (2650 watts) during the first five hours of operation.”
I didn’t think about it at the time, so varied the load up to 2650W… but then realized that it has a max of 3700W, so half of running watts would be 1850W, not 2650W… so the manual seems to have a typo one way or another, but too late now.
Later ran it in a 20lb propane tank. Easy setup and runs great.
Overall very happy with the generator, given I only have used it for about 6h so far.

Well fitted to camping

Bought the iGen 4500DF 18 days ago . Was really impressed with the quick shipping, ordered Wednesday night and received Saturday morning same week.
The unit was easy to prep for operation started up on first try and ran smoothly very quiet for a generator of this size . The remote start feature has me a little confused since the manual states not to start or shut the generator down with anything plugged to it .
Other than that
Every thing worked as advertised right out of the box can't wait to take camping.
