Overall, a great product

Just received the unit and installed it. Everything is great, except filling in the motor oil is messy. The funnel neck is not long enough and it is difficult to pull in oil without spilling it. Also, can't tell how much oil is just enough to fill the tank but not to overflow it. I would suggest to provide the exact amount of oil so that the new user knows how much it is needed.

Starts right up!

I bought this for a backup electric generator. Charged the battery, added oil, add gas and took it outside in 24 DegF. Started right up. I ran it several hours with a freezer and refrigerator plugged into it. No problems. It has a 3.4 gal fuel tank. Whish it was 5 or more gallons like the gas cans.

Awesome Generator Even With a Few Bugs to Work Out

I bought this generator a year and a half ago, and it has worked great for me on propane! Unfortunately, I never tried to run it on gasoline until a few months ago and it wouldn't start no matter what I tried. Looks like I'm not the only one with this issue so I'll get it in to be repaired. While I was researching the issue though, I found that there's an active recall for my serial number anyway, so hopefully it will all get worked out. It's been awesome on propane though and runs everything I need in my RV! Just hope to get it in for the bugs to be worked out.

After extensive review and comparisons we purchased our iGen 4500DF because it met pretty much all of our requirements. RV ready was the most important along with size ,weight , and long run time on 3.4 gal tank. The added bonuses were Dual Fuel Capability and Quite Sound level when running under load. It was shipped with Every item and feature as promised. We cant wait to get on the road. PS

I ran this generator and found the noise level to be very quiet with no load on it. The output test 123 volts on idle. Starting it with the FOB or using the start/stop button was effortless. I ran this on propane with no problems.
