Awesome Generator!!

After significant reach, I picked the IGEN4500DF based on the quality features and quietness. Love the remote starting and low noise level. Would buy this generator again.

Love this generator!! So Versatile!!

We bought this generator to power our travel trailer. Our favorite feature is it's dual fuel capability. It is so great to be able to operate using propane especially when camping while not having the gas fumes to deal with. The electric start is fantastic and having a wireless remote control is the icing on the cake. It's so nice to be able to start the generator from inside our travel trailer on cool mornings.
It was so easy to set up and operate and started on the first attempt.
It is also so nice to have the LED display with remaining run time, remaining fuel and lifetime hours data is really helpful.
The Gen4500DF is so very quiet for such a large generator! I couldn't get over how you can be standing right beside it while running and have a pleasant conversation with someone.
Other great features are the telescoping handle and the never flatting wheels. For such a large generator that really makes it so easy to move it around when needed.
I am so glad we purchase this Westinghouse generator. It has really been a great asset for our camping adventures! We are heading to Florida for our next trip and I know we will have no worries with our power needs because of wonderful generator.

So far mostly good, it started right up on propane

Happy with the purchase it replaces a Coleman 5000 which was very loud, this one is very quiet. My only issue is the side panel on the carb side does not sit flush if there was a screw instead of a post in that spot it would be perfect but it hits the carb and pushes it out slight. Only cosmetic so it can be lived with.

Nice unit.

No problem setting up. Unit did not run properly. Found that the choke wire was unplugged. Worked great after connecting. Used once so far for about one hour for household loads. Impressive. Would like to have a unit like this that was 240v.

Great Generator

I tested this out for a couple of hours and it met all my expectations as an inverter generator. Pros include great control panel, easy set-up / start, and very smooth operation overall. I hooked up everything I wanted and still couldn't get this thing over 50% utilization!
Cons are minor, but I have no clue where they get 52db noise level--we measures and even from 25ft away it was above 60db. The oil situation is also difficult--when first filling, it slightly overfilled and spilled oil all over the enclosed inside frame. The oil spout is tough to get to, and draining the oil looks like it will be a pain without some sort of custom solution for oil to actually exit the enclosed frame via the cutout hole on the bottom.

Bought this in preparation for power outages with next Texas winter power power grid failure. It has worked very well on propane and natural gas. I do not plan to use gasoline due to difficulty keeping fuel fresh.

Great Features but Have Not Used Yet

This came in yesterday and though I have not had an opportunity to fire it up yet, it has great features for the price. The oil was a little difficult to put in and the oil drain is not easy access but still manageable. The weight is only 98lbs empty and fairly easy to move with the wheels and handle.
