More expensive than an open frame generator but so much quieter and better for electronics. Dual fuel brings so much peace of mind as well.

Still breaking it in. I almost returned it when I thought the thing the battery strap connects to was broken, but I realized it is just a poor design. The rest of it seems good so far. It is fairly quiet.

Problem with choke

Not able to get it started. Called support and then googled the problem. Found many posts about the problem with the disconnected cable. Factory should have resolved this long ago.

I tested this unit with propane and I was pleased. Quick start and ease of maneuvering with the extendable handle are very nice. I like the economy switch allowing the generator to adjust itself to the load. I connected it to a 1500 watt oil heater and adjusted its settings and I could hear the generator adjusting its power. The remote control key fob is a nice feature also.

I have not used this yet under a big load but it seems like it will work, it appears to be well protected against the weather but in the manual it says to keep it out of the rain and snow. That's when I will need it most so maybe it was not a good choice, I'll find out.
