Pretty impressive generator

Perfect size for any RV or camper with a 30 amp service. I'm very impressed with the overall quality and design. The campground owner stopped by as we were first starting it and was impressed with how quiet it was. Then I put it in eco mode to really impress him. I will keep this covered in the back of my pickup under lock and chain.

iGen4500 Generator

I recently bought this generator and am very pleased with it. It's pretty quiet as advertised and has plenty of power to run my RV air conditioner.

Dual fuel!

Purchased because quieter than open versions and because of the versatility of dual fuel and ability to run in parallel. Easy to move with integrated handle.

Fired up right out of the box. Little bigger than I was expecting. Remote will be great on those cold mornings out at elk camp. Eager to see how it performs.

Started right up

Just bought this and did the 5 hour break in. I used a heat gun to fluctuate the power as instructed for break in process. I changed the oil after break in. I found some small metal flakes in the used oil. Not sure if this is normal or not. It seemed to operate properly

Solid unit

Just got this unit.Set up was straight forward. Runs quiet. Looks to serve us well. Seems a solid built easy to operate unit. The only issue is that the fob is not functional. I'm sure that will be an easy fix.

Solid Generator

I recently purchased the iGen4500DF generator as a backup power source in the event of a power outage. The generator arrived with no damage but the battery was loose. The dual fuel feature was a requirement since I plan on mostly on LP. I wish Westinghouse sold a Natural Gas conversion for this generator.
After adding oil, the generator started on the first try using LP. The Quick Start Guide does not mention the break-in period so you should read the User Manual. Also, after the break-in period, some other manufactures recommend changing the oil. There is no mention of changing the oil after the break-in period on the iGen4500DF.
Under 50% load, the generator was very quiet. If this generator had a natural gas option I would have rated it Excellent. I would recommend this generators to others.
