I love this particular model. I love that I don't have to pull start it. And it can handle a lot of my equipment.

Terrific RV Generator

I purchased this about a montha go and have used it a few times now. I really like it. It provides stable power for my RV and is amazingly quiet. It is quite heavy, but still worth purchasing. I would highly recommend!

Functional. Wish it were lighter.

Performs as needed, ie RV air conditioner, microwave, etc. Don't like that the toggle on/off switch is lighted when in the on position. Leaving the switch in the on position so remote start can be used from the RV drains the battery when generator is not in use. Having to set the toggle in the on position prior to each start negates the value of the remote start function.

Rock‑Solid Performance on Propane — Reliable and P
on August 9, 2026

from Quebec, Canada
I’ve been using my Westinghouse iGen5000DFc for a few weeks now, sometimes for short runs and other times for 1–2 hour sessions, and it has been rock‑solid every time. No overheating, no hiccups, no strange behavior — just smooth, consistent performance.
I run it exclusively on propane, and at around 50% load it powers everything I need on my trailer without any trouble. I can run the A/C, the refrigerator, the battery charger, and even a small electric appliance like a toaster, all at once, with zero drop in power and no signs of strain.
The generator runs cleanly and steadily on propane, and the remote start has worked every single time, even after sitting unused for several days. That convenience alone makes a big difference.
Overall, the iGen5000DFc has been reliable, quiet, and surprisingly strong, and it’s been a great addition to my RV setup. For anyone looking for a dependable dual‑fuel inverter generator — especially for propane use — this one has been excellent so far.

Quality generator
on August 8, 2026

Bought this generator in August of 2026 for boondock camping in my travel trailer and also as an emergency backup for my home in case of extended power outages if needed. So far so good. Quality generator that is comparable to Honda and Onan. Westinghouse's reputation speaks for itself. Curious to see how many years I'll get out of it with proper maintenance.
