Better than advertised!

We just bought this and are so pleased already. It started right up which was a great beginning! It is as quiet as advertised… no louder than one of our old 2000 watt generators and a whole lot quieter than the 5000 watt open frame we had to rent last year. Winter do your worst. We are ready with our new Westinghouse iGen4500DF generator. We are also looking forward to dry camping with it…it is an upgrade over our 2 daisy-chained Champion generators.

User Friendly Great Features

I bought this about a month ago and so far both my wife and I are happy we did. I bought this model because of the features and previous reviews, and can say this product lives up to its excellent reputation. Generator is especially user friendly with the electric start feature which has worked flawlessly. This makes it much easier for my wife to use if we lose power when I’m not home as well as being incredibly convenient with the remote control start. Awesome feature. Having dual fuel capability is also one of the main reasons I bought this model. I’m running it off of a 30# tank. Much more preferable to me than keeping gasoline around. I’m ok with losing a few watts of power to be able to run propane. Quality seems to be great and would definitely recommend this model.

Great machine! Except will not start in cold temps

Quiet power full

I bought the 4500DF and it’s quiet and power full runs 8hours a day. I use gas but use propane for back up so I don’t run out of fuel. We liked it so much we bought another for the house. Much more bang for you buck than a Honda and it’s just a quiet reliable as one.

So Far, So Good

The generator seems to work as advertised. I started with propane and haven’t filled the gas tank yet. I may just stick with the propane. I had read a lot of reviews and sometimes it showed up with the automatic clutch disconnected. That doesn’t seem to be the case with mine as it settled down very quickly. I really like the remote start.
