Very quiet. Runs great. Only issue I had was realizing the unit needs the battery to operate. And the unit came with the 12v battery disconnected. Took me a few minutes to realize this. No mention of it in the instructions

My review is for the iGen5000DF for some reason it says the 4500. Quiet and love the remote bought this for my camper cause we had a more traditional pull sting and loud gen. Love the gas to propane also, we will run on bought to see what is sustainable for our needs.

IGen5000DFcv Generator

I just started this generator today and it is quiet for the size. ECO mode does quit down more, but I haven't place the generator under load yet. I will be heading out for a 2 month trip to multiple states and will be boondocking. I will update during and / or after completing this trip.

IGen4500DF Westinghouse Inverter Generator

After an exhaustive search for a RV inverter generator I settled on the Westinghouse iGen45500DF. It is everything I had hoped for and more. it can easily handle the load for a 30amp RV. Its super easy to set up and use. It is dual fuel which is helpful for camping. It has 3 starting modes, but my wife loves the fact that she doesn't have to use the recoil start and can just use the remote or push-button electric start. It's light enough for one person to pick up with a little work, but super easy for two. when it comes to moving it around, t's easy to maneuver with a telescoping heavy-duty handle. Best of all is the noise level, for a portable generator, it purrs like a big kitten in idle and not ear popping when using a full load. Runs without having to yell at each other to hold a conversation. Plus, your neighbor's ears will be thankful to. Good job Westinghouse, big thumbs up.
