I bought Westinghouse 4500 generator about a month ago and I absolutely love it it's quiet and Powerful Love the push button start very reliable generator

All the bells and whistles

I bought this to use at my camp and to use with a travel trailer. Chose this particular model due to the dual fuel capability, remote start, integrated wheels, inverter/quiet and the price. The next closest comparable generator in price is almost 1000 watts less capable and does not have remote start. So far have about 25 hours run time and everything is working flawlessly

Great little generator

Perfect size generator for my camper, really like the dual fuel feature, and the fact that you can switch from one fuel to the other while is running. Remote start very handy. So far works great!! Many features I have not seen on other generators, Good job Westinghouse.

What I wanted and as I hoped

I researched generators a lot and ended up with this one. In the end, finding out the engine inside was actually made by westinghouse was one of the deciding factors - that impressed me. I also needed at least 3500W running power and the 3700W running power this one offers (on gas) more than met my requirement.. surprised at how competitor units like Predator and Honda only delver 3000-3200W running. The fact it came with all the bells and whistles (fuel gauge, running time counter, remaining time counter, remote start, wheels, etc) was all icing on the cake. I bought 2 of these because I needed 7000W total power and there was no more cost effective way to get that out of a quiet generator. The units took several attempts to start for the first time out of the box and I was worried about that but now that they are broken in (changed the oil at 20 hrs and at 50hrs) they start on the first or 2nd push of the start button. I've run them for upwards of 20 hours at a time and they performed flawlessly. They are quiet enough for my needs and much quieter than non-inverter generators that will deliver the power for less price per watt but of course, they all sound like jackhammer crews and this one is nice and low key, especially in economy mode. Overall, I am very satisfied with these generators after 1 month of intense usage.

Superb Features

Just purchased this generator. Out of the box I am quite impressed. Fired right off on propane. The remote starter works extremely well, tried it 40 feet away and behind obstacles, EXCELLENT. Bought it to use while remote camping at the lake. I'm hoping the unit will allow us some creature comforts of home, including A/C on those unbearably hot days (nights). I especially like the ability to run on propane. All indications are that this product is an excellent value. Great Job Westinghouse! Might eve

Quiet!

I purchased 2 weeks ago for my camp trailer with 30 amp plug. Worked very well. Using propane, it ran at just over 25% using the air conditioner. We haul the 24' trailer with a Yukon and did not want to haul gasoline in the trailer or the Yukon since if there was a spill the smell would penetrate and not go away. we are sooo pleased at the quiet use of the IGen4500DF
