Doing the review to get the cover. Only run the generator a short time. Started easy on gasoline and propane. If you put in the whole bottle of oil as instructed about 4 ounces will run out. The carburetor bowl drain screw is not as shown on the instructions. It is difficult to get to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this generator to run my RV and my house during power outages absolutely the most quietest generator on the market very good quality and very easy to use I would highly recommend to anybody

Good control panel but instruction manual wanting

Product is what I expected and when it was all hooked up it started on the second try. Like the LED read out but can get the hours read out to work. Everything I expected and looking forward to years of use. Nothing requiring immediate attension. except...
Recieved product a little beat up but not so much I would reject. Even opened the box to look for the obvious and found none. After installing the battery I notice the front panel screws were not all the way "in" and appears that they had work done after left the factory..Partly stripped Phillips screws. No way to prove but may need some QA at the factory. The issue was they were cross threaded. Took out, chased them and reinstalled OK. Instruction to hook up propane non existent except to install to propane tank. Added the oil about 25% came back out. Must have had some oil in the engine from factory

Extremely Discriptive

The Gen4500DF was exactly what I was looking for. Duel fuel options was very important to me so I would have the ability to find fuel that would be available during any emergency. The control panel is conveniently located in the front. With the weight being around 100 lbs it is easily portable on its attached wheels and handles. Remote start was a pleasant surprise. I sincerely hope I will never have to use it but the actual operation is quite simple. I am very pleased with my purchase and I do have a reputation for being very critical with how I spend my money.
