The Dual fuel and remote start is awesome

This runs everything in my 38ft 5th wheel! Even washer and dryer but not all at the same time. I can be off grid for about a week and still enjoy all the comforts of home.

Fits the RV needs.

Runs our AC and microwave at the same time. I like the wheels and the suitcase handle which makes it easy to move. Had no startup problems, perhaps they have finally been resolved. Fit and finish is just so-so, but that is all cosmetic, what is more important to me is performance. The owner's manual is a cut above what we receive nowadays. I see the issue with the oil drain, but I recently purchased an oil extractor and so I had no mess. If you have several small engines, that is the way to change oil. I'm satisfied so far.

Im so pleased with the dual fuel. After running the generator for the recommended break-in period, we are taking this generator with us camping and using propane to operate it. Clean and quiet.

I bought this generator to use while camping. This is the smallest and quietest generator I could find that is dual fuel and can run the air conditioner on my travel trailer.

I am way beyond satisfied with IGEN4500DF !! This generator is so quiet I can run it all night long without disturbing anyone. Such an easy start with the push button but I love the remote start even more.

Dual fuel is great

iGen4500DF purchased June 2021.
It's great being able to run on propane, I prefer carrying an extra propane tank rather than gasoline. As a side bonus, the exhaust smell on propane is much less unpleasant than when running on gasoline. Switching between gas and propane is seamless. As expected based on the power rating, no problems starting/running 13.5k BTU a/c.
I also own a Yamaha EF3000iSEB. The Westinghouse is about 50lbs lighter and is much easier to move with the pull-out handle. Both generators show the same noise spectrum within a couple of dB (simple phone app), but my ears say the Yamaha has a 'smoother' sound while the Westinghouse has more of an engine 'puttering' sound. Although I prefer the Yamaha noise, the propane capability and lighter weight of the Westinghouse is worth it to me.
HOWEVER, I did have the widespread problem where the automatic choke connector was not snapped into the control board. It's just bizzare how they can't get this under control after it's been going on for so long. Annoying but not hard to correct.

We bought this because of the lovely power outages we experience in California. This product is amazing. There’s a pull out handle that makes it super easy to move around. Totally recommend!
