Perfect for the RV

received our generator df took it out of the box, hooked it up to the propane and it started right up manually and with the remote. you can talk over the motor very quiet and we were sitting next it. Features a plug to charge your phone which my daughter tested. had it for a short time but so far very impressed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought our first Westinghouse generator over a year ago. Unfortunately, it was stolen from us. We were very happy with that one. So, when buying a replacement, we didn’t hesitate to look for another Westinghouse. This time we wanted to try the dual fuel model. We have not been disappointed. While on a 10-day summer adventure, it performed very well. It ran pretty much 24/7 the entire time other than shutting it down for oil changes. We’re hoping we will have this one much longer than the last. Thanks!

Great Generator

This generator is exactly what I wanted and what I expected, and it has delivered. It fired up on the first push of the start button, and first pull of the recoil starter rope, right out of the box! I tested it on both gas and propane no issues it ran why 15K A/C on eco mode without skipping a beat! I would recommend this generator in a heart beat.

Great for RV power

I haven't had this long enough for a long time review but in the short time I have used this IGEN 4500 dual fuel I am very pleased with the features it has. I plan on using this with propane exclusively, but like that I can also use it with gasoline. The remote start and shut off is a great feature. This is a quiet generator that kicks up and down smoothly for power demand. Output scale on the front panel is a great feature also. This also works my 3500 BTU A/C unit, fridge if you don't have a propane option, and your hair dryer and curling irons. ( important stuff when dry camping)

All the features I wanted

I've just had this a day but I was very impressed when I pulled gently on the recoil starter handle to test the compression and it started right up! After that I started it a number of times using the battery/starter, sometimes with the remote fob. Everything worked. It is quiet enough that you can have a normal conversation standing beside the unit while it is running (in non-eco mode at about 1/2 power output). It also handled my RV air conditioner plus the electric water heater (which I would not run while on generator, really). It would not handle the second air conditioner - undoubtedly because of the starting current. I haven't tried the propane fuel, yet, but I intend to shortly.

Hot Rod Generator

This genny had all the features I wanted and then some. I think the igen4500DF had some drawbacks at first: people reported choke problems, gummed up carb, some other starting issues but I think Westinghouse got it sorted out because mine arrived and after following the instructions for setup it started second time on propane and ran great. All features are functional and the thing is soooo quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!
