Push start is awesome. We love our inventer. Although we received it with a damage wheel we love it. We plan on contact someone at cx service regarding this problem

Very Quiet, Nice Features

This will have to serve as a short term review, since I only started it up today, but I must say, so far I'm impressed! I ordered this from the Home Depot website, and it was delivered with free shipping, It was boxed up very nicely and I like that it included oil (PLUS) with the purchase, and the battery had enough charge to start the unit (PLUS). I unboxed it, which took about 5 minutes, read through the quick start guide (less than 5 minutes), then using the extending handle (PLUS) I rolled it outside like a suitcase.. Easy peasy. Outside, I snapped off the oil and battery covers, put the oil in the unit with the INCLUDED funnel (PLUS), and connected the battery cables with the simple plug adapter (PLUS) that you can hook directly up to a battery tender jr if you wanted to (PLUS). The unit also comes with an outlet adapter to charge the battery from your 110v outlet (PLUS). I added about a gallon of gasoline and a quarter ounce of stabil, took the remote control and hit the start button. It fired right up! I couldn't believe how quiet it was! (SUPER PLUS). Then I put it on eco mode and it got even quieter!!! I hooked up an electric hammer drill to check how much it would ramp up.. it was barely affected, the drill was twice as loud as the IGEN. So it took me about 10-15 minutes to get this thing ready to use. The maintenance schedule says to change that oil after 20 hours of use, so I will do that or maybe sooner. Then as I read the manual, I saw another PLUS, a free gift for leaving a review.. it didn't say it had to be a good review or anything, but in this case, I have nothing but good things to say about this machine, so far. I hope it lasts, but with a 3 yr warranty, I'm not all that concerned. Time will tell.

Arrived in great condition, sound packaging. Added fuel and oil, started right up with starter fob. So far so good, time will tell for sure in the long run. I am pleased with purchase. I am using this for my RV and power emergencies.

We have 12 to 14 hour power outages here in the Mohave Desert at least once a year. My wife is on oxygen and needs power 24 hrs. a day. The iGen4500DF delivers the emergency power when we need it. This is a great peace of mind. The dual fuel option lets me keep propane on hand and is much easier and safer than having 5 or 10 gallons of gas just sitting in the heat.
