This thing has so many useful features I'm hoping it will live up to my expectations. It's off to a shaky start, though. On the plus side, the operation is easy and straightforward. Love the electric start! Love that it has an RV electrical outlet as well as standard 120V outlets. Love the dual-fuel capability. I added gas and oil (more on that shortly), left the run switch off and pulled the starter cord a few times to make sure oil was circulated. Turned the switch to on, pushed START and voila, up and running. The operating manual cautions against running it with no load so I verified it was running smoothly then shut it off.
Now for the not so good. I have to agree with other reviewers. Adding oil is a bit awkward. Not nearly as awkward as draining and changing it is going to be. More bad - my unit is leaking oil. At first the leak was fairly significant. I think one possibility for it is that there may have been some residual oil in the engine left over from factory testing. I followed the directions in the manual and added the whole container supplied with the unit and, since you can't actually see what's happening while you're adding the oil, it may have overflowed and that's where the dripping is coming from. The dripping has slowed (after about 20 hours) but it's still there. I'm going to give it another day to see if it stops before I contact tech support.
Other than that, it seems to be an excellent product and well worth the money.

It came with an open frame cover if I give this review. I would say this item is well made by it's look. Can't wait to put the oil in and fire it up.
