Easy to use

Generator was super simple to set up and came well packaged. Starts up first try with no issues. Lots of great features making this very handy to have around the house along with small and simple to take on the go in the RV. No issues running the A/C unit in my RV as it has plenty of power.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was elated to find ALL the features I needed and made in the USA by an American company!
But,
I purchased 2 of these, a month apart and BOTH had shameful defects in assembly. Things like : The battery was just stuffed in it's compartment with loose terminal connections and strap not hooked. and the battery compartment cover was just lying in the bottom of the box. Not sure if the battery bouncing around pushed the cover off or, whoever put the battery in, just threw the cover on the box.
The other had loose bolts rolling around in the shipping box. I figured out where they all went except one square nut with a threaded hole in it. I have no idea where it goes or to whom I can send a photo of it so I can get instructions on how to proceed or if I should not bother and just return it!
My purchase was inspired by my appreciation of Westinghouse designers that came up with the A4W Nuclear reactors for Aircraft carriers and so many other outstanding success stories.
I need 2 covers for my 2 Igen 4500df generators plus a text from someone that can help me with this extra nut... it looks special & important.

My iGen4500DF

I have a Westinghouse open frame 7500 watt generator. I bought the iGen4500 because it is rated to be much quieter than my open frame generator and has low THD for sensitive electronic products. Have run the iGen a couple times for very short periods. It is much quieter than my open frame. Let's wait and see how it operates when we have a power outage.

Fill with oil, fill with gas and go!

Went threw a couple generators before finding this beauty for my 30 ft airstream with two air conditioners. Easy to setup and get going. Paired it with 2 micro air easy starts and it easily runs both air conditioners. Love the digital display so that I can easily look at the generator to see remaining fuel and current load.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just received this generator. It arrived very quickly once shipped. Everything seems to be as described. I just unpacked it, put in the oil and gasoline and tried all of the various methods to start it up. (pull string, push button, remote) All methods fired it right up without issue. Switched between gasoline and propane while running seamlessly. Have not put any kind of load on it yet, as my RV is in storage, so I can't speak to that aspect yet, but I expect to do that within the next few weeks. All in all, so far so good. The only reason I did not select 'excellent' is because I have not yet experienced the generator in use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
